How do you add a contact to a list if they don't have an email?

I am trying to create a list so I can print the list and send christmas cards from it. Some of my contacts (grandparents or people who dont use email) don't have email. I can't figure out a way to add these into a list? Any ideas?
If you are using the new yahoo mail. The ajax version. Go into editing a list. Try to add a contact that has no email. You can't. It only accepts entering the contacts into lists if they have an email. Why??? It's making me nutty!!! This should act more like an address book and less like an email address book.
I have several hundred contacts. I can't add fake emails to them. That would take forever!

    You shouldn't need an email address to add them to your list. Is the "Add Contact" form requiring you to have an email address for them? It doesn't require emails for my contacts.

    Maybe you can describe more what you're doing to enter these contacts.

    use a fake address! !

    do you have a list already made… import and export is a standard for e-mail programs!
