How is it possible that I'm getting spam from my own email address?

Posted by admin

One day I'm checking my mail, I check my bulk mail to see if anything important accidentally got sent there and to my surprise I see a spam letter for fake watches with my email address. The sender was listed as rwmarie@yahoo.com, which is my professional email address that I use for school correspondence, work emails and ect. I didn't create the email and I certainly didn't forward it to myself because I've gotten two or three of them. I find this very peculiar and annoying because it makes me wonder if some spam bot has hacked my account or something of the like.

The mask in this case yourself so the sender the email to mask in this case yourself so the address you send someone probably did that.
